چکیده

In this work, we study the renormalization group invariance (RGI) of recently proposed covariant power counting (PC) scheme in case nucleon-nucleon scattering [Chin.Phys. C42 (2018) 014103] at leading order (LO). We show that unlike LO Weinberg case, RGI is satisfied $^3P_{0}$ channel, because a term $pp'$ appears naturally PC LO. Another interesting feature $^1S_{0}$ and $^3P_{1}$ channels are correlated. Fixing two relevant low energy constants by fitting to phase shifts $T_\mathrm{lab.}=10$ $25$ MeV with cutoff $\Lambda$ $400-650$ MeV, can be described relatively well. limit $\Lambda\rightarrow \infty$, $^1S_0$ channel becomes independent, while lost consistent Wigner bound previous observation $^{3}P_1$ better treated perturbatively. As for $^1P_{1}$ $^3S_{1}$-$^3D_{1}$ channels, satisfied, similar approach.

Chiral Symmetry and the Nucleon-Nucleon Interaction

The main progress in the eld of nucleon-nucleon (NN) potentials, which we have seen in recent years, is the construction of some very quantitative (high-quality/high-precision) NN potentials. These potentials will serve as excellent input for microscopic nuclear structure calculations and will allow for a systematic investigation of o -shell effects. After this enormous quantitative work, it is...

Perturbative renormalizability of chiral two-pion exchange in nucleon-nucleon scattering

We study the perturbative renormalizability of chiral two-pion exchange for singlet and triplet channels within effective field theory, provided that the one-pion exchange piece of the interaction has been fully iterated. We determine the number of counterterms/subtractions needed to obtain finite results when the cutoff is removed, resulting in three counterterms for the singlet channel and si...

The Nucleon-nucleon Interaction in a Chiral Constituent Quark Model

We study the short-range nucleon-nucleon interaction in a chiral constituent quark model by diagonalizing a Hamiltonian comprising a linear confinement and a Goldstone boson exchange interaction between quarks. The six-quark harmonic oscillator basis contains up to two excitation quanta. We show that the highly dominant configuration is | sp[42]O [51]FS > due to its specific flavour-spin symmet...

The Nucleon-Nucleon Interaction in a Chiral Constituent Quark Model

Acknowledgments First and foremost, I wish to express my deep gratitude to my supervisor Fl. Stancu for giving me inspiration and guidance in the research work contained in this thesis. I am very grateful to her for prompt help whenever I needed it. Her professional and human support was so fundamental that it is really hard to estimate what a chance I had meeting her. I would also like to than...

Nucleon-Nucleon interaction in a chiral constituent quark model

We study the nucleon-nucleon (NN) problem as a six-quark system in a nonrelativistic chiral constituent quark model where the Hamiltonian contains a linear confinement and a pseudoscalar meson (Goldstone boson) exchange interaction between the quarks. This interaction has a long range Yukawa-type part, depending on the mass of the exchanged meson and a short range part, mainly responsible for t...
